A Pair of 19th Century Silver Plated Wine Coolers. Each campagna shaped wine cooler with an internal lift out bottle cylinder and domed rim cover. The covers falling to meet the rims, cast with conch shells in leaf surrounds, anthemion, and spreading reeded gadroons, over the body with rising and broadening reeds. The vases mounted with pairs of gathered vine handles, emerging from Bacchanalian masks. The ringed socles spreading to a band of leaf and shell decoration, before a reeded and stepped foot. Height 10 inches, 25cm. Diameter 10 inches, 25cm. Date circa 1850.Ref: 24138
