A Good Pair of 18th Century Candlesticks.
The candlesticks well cast in the Rococo manner. The lift out drip pans and vase shaped candle holders covered with enfolding leaves. The columns twisting and tapering decorated with entwining leaves and flowers, above broadly circular bases, decorated in high relief with butterflies and beetles, amongst fruits, flowers and leaves and shells.
The whole very well detailed, chased and with unusual mounts.
Date c 1770.
