A 19th Century Lamp Base. With a well detailed Corinthian capital, resting on the fluted and ebonized column, finished with a ringed and rounded socle. The plinth with entwined gathered leaf crowns, with the plinth standing on a concave and stepped base. The interior of the base with conforming cast iron loading. Re wired and ready to use. Date circa 1850. Height 17 1/4 inches, 44cm to the top of the capital. Width 7 inches, 18cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm.Ref: 23637
