A Large Pair of Silver Candlesticks. Each with a lift out scalloped and stepped drip pan, decorated to the quarters with spreading leaves. The drip pan fitting within ringed and concave profile candle holders, resting on concave and ringed socles, over the stems, topped by spreading leaves, before the fluted baluster stems, finished with rising petals. The vase shaped socle, flowing into the dishes and thence scallop stepped bases, likewise decorated to the quarters with spreading leaves. The undersides with loading. Hallmarked for Horace Woodward, London, 1900. Height 11 3/4 inches, 30cm. Width 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Depth 5 1/2 inches, 14cm.Ref: 24278
