A Pair of Early 19th Century Silver Plated Candelabra. Each with a pair of reeded branches, emerging from a centre candle holder. The candle holder with a ringed body and rim, holding the square and dished gadroon rimmed drip pan. The arms sweeping to leaf terminals, over the concave socles, holding the square gadroon rimmed pans, before the ringed and concave vase shaped candle holders and lift out drip pans, likewise dished and gadroon edged. The arms/candelabra fitting within, and lifting out of well detailed open Corinthian capitals, resting on fluted columns, tapering outward and downward to rising stop reeds. The ringed and concave socle standing on square stepped plinths, with a spreading gadroon lower edge. The columns taking the central drip pan, allowing them to be used as candlesticks. The whole in very good condition and of a noticeably heavy gauge. Height 22 inches, 56cm. Width 19 1/2 inches, 49.5cm. Depth 5 inches, 13cm. Date circa 1830.
