A Pair of 19th Century Silver Candlesticks. Each with a lift out drip pan, with a beaded edge. the drip pans fitting within the candle holders, in the form of Corinthian capitals, over fluted columns, tapering outward and downward to rising stop reeds. The columns with ringed socles. The columns standing on square concave profile plinths, with beaded banding, enclosing scrolled hare bell swags. The plinths finished with fluted lower banding hallmarked for James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1897. Height 11 inches, 28cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.Ref: 24104
