A Pair of Silver Candlesticks. Each with a lift out drip pan, of scallop shape, decorated to the corners with inward spreading leaves. The drip pans fitting within vase shaped candle holders, over a waisted socle. The stems topped with spreading leaf knops, held be fluted and folding leaf columns, finished with an orb, and thence a tall waisted socle. The bases spreading, as per the drip pans, in broadening panels, to meet a concave and convex stepped edge, between corners decorated with spreading leaves. Hallmarked for Thomas Scott, Sheffield 1901. Height 10 inches, 25.5cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.
