A Pair of Silver Candlesticks. Each with a lift out oval shaped dished drip pan, decorated to the drip pans fitting within classical vase shaped candle holders, with fluted bowls, topped by a rope twist band. The stems, likewise with a rope twist band above the flutes tapering to a waisted socle. The oval bases spreading with broadening flutes to a concave moulding, and thence the plinth foot. The undersides with baize covered loading. Hallmarked for William Charles Fordham and Albert Buckley Faulkner. Sheffield 1910. Height 8 1/2 inches, 21.5cm. Width 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.
