A 19th Century Gilt Brass Pocket Barometer. The barometer with a loop top, and rotating cursor bezel, marked for altitude. The silvered dial marked 'compensated for temperature' and the maker 'Hill and Son, Haymarket, London'. The barometer in a leather covered, and velvet lined case. Date circa 1870. Height 3 inches, 8cm. Width 2 inches, 5cm. Depth 3/4 inch, 2cm.Ref: 21993
