An 18th Century Apothecary, Arbarello Jar. The jar with an outward curved rounded rim, above the body with rounded shoulders and a waisted centre, spreading to a rounded bottom, and thence a small raised foot rim. The jar decorated with winged eagles, topped by a crown and centred by a rising flower. The lower body titled with apothecary contents, 'F.ASIRAB BELICOR'. Date c 1740. Height 10 1/2 inches, 27cm.
