18TH C APOTHECARY JAR

An 18th Century Apothecary Jar. The arbarello, with an outward curving rim, above the body with two broad rounds centred by a waisted band. The rounds painted with swagged flowers, and scrolling leaves, enclosed by blue line rings. The jar resting on a waisted socle, spreading to a circular foot. Date c 1750. Height 7 1/4 inches, width 4 3/4 inches, depth 4 3/4 inches.
