An 18th century Apothecary Jar. The late 18th century Tin Glazed Apothecary Jar, with a circular lid, topped with a rounded knob handle, decorated with spreading leaves. The rim with a banded edge, over the cylindrical body, broadening in a slight chamfer to the foot rim. The foot rim decorated with banding, as per the lid, and top rim. The body with a shield shape reserve, titled for the contents, "Thriaq Fine" Height. 10 inches 25cm Width. 5 1/2 inches 14cm Depth. 5 1/2 inches 14cm Circa 1780
