An 18th Century Delft Apothecary Jar. The jar with an outward rolled rim, above a slightly waisted cylindrical body, with rounded shoulders and base. The jar on a ringed socle, resting on the downward swept circular foot, with a hollow underside. The jar decorated with a scrolled cartouche, from which leaves and foliage emerges. Date c 1740.
