An 18th Century Delft Bowl.
The outer body painted with a scene of a pagoda temple and a European house, set to either side of a bridge, amongst gardens and landscape, with a lake to the foreground, the rear of the bowl with an island within the lake, above which fly flocks of birds. The interior of the bowl with the European house scene of the outside, the interior rim with a band of hatching and arcading. The whole raised on a foot rim.
Date c 1750.
Height 4 1/4 inches, diameter 10 3/3 inches.
