18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger. The slopping rim decorated with panels of oriental flower heads, between borders of tall vases. The centre of the charger painted with a scene of a peacock, walking in a garden full of large rising flowers, leaves and bushes. The rear with a small foot rim. Date c 1720. Diameter 13 1/2 inches.
