18TH C DELFT CHARGER

The 18th century Delft Charger, with an ochre banded edge, surrounding the rim, decorated with sprigs of flowers, topped by a pair of butterflies. The centre of the Charger painted with a scene of flowers in full bloom, over which an exotic bird flies. The rear of the charger with a small raised foot rim. The appealing Charger in good condition. Height 1 3/4 inches, 4cm. Diameter 11 3/4 inches, 30cm. Circa 1740
