An 18th Century Delft Charger. With a noticeably broad sloping rim, the edge of which is decorated with a continuous 'C' scroll banding. The centre of the charger with a hatched chevron banding, enclosing a scene of an Oriental garden, with large flowers and bamboo growing on a lawn, divided with a lattice fence. The rear of the charger with a raised foot rim. Date circa 1720. Height 2 1/4 inches, 6cm. Diameter 14 1/4 inches, 36cm.Ref: 24206
