18TH C DELFT CHARGER

An 18th Century Delft Charger. With a broad, flat profile rim, banded in ochre lining, and decorated with blooms and spreading flowers. The centre of the charger likewise decorated with rising blooms and spreading flowers, amongst which butterflies flit. The rear of the charger with a recessed foot rim. Date circa 1740. Height 1 1/2 inches, 4cm. Diameter 14 inches, 36cm.
