An 18th Century Delft Octagonal Dish. With a raised and rounded rim edge, surrounding alternating panels of hatched lattice decoration, against panels of emerging flowers. The centre of the dish with a scene of a swan nesting amongst flower filled bushes, around which butterflies flit. The rear of the dish with spreading flowers to the shoulders. Date circa 1760. Height 1 1/4 inches, 3cm. Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Depth 10 1/4 inches, 26cm.Ref: 24128
