An 18th Century Delft Tobacco Jar. The outward folded rim, above the ovoid body, tapering downward and inward to a circular foot, with slightly recessed underside. The body painted with a scrolling flower and leaf reserve, with latticed and stippled panels. The top of the reserve with a vase, filled with overflowing flowers. The centre of the reserve titled 'DUYNEKERKER'. (Please note, almost an exact pair to 20612) Date c 1750. Height 11 inches, width 9 inches, depth 9 inches.
