19TH C CHINESE VASE AND COVER

A 19th Century Chinese vase and cover, the bell-shaped lid with an oval finial and a broad rim. The baluster-shaped body with a small foot rim. The whole continuously decorated with vertical tapering bands, the bands alternating with a blue ground and a white ground, decorated with flowers and foliage, highlighted with gilt.

Height 17 inches; diameter 9 1/2 inches.
