A 19th Century Japanese Vase. With a raised scrolling leaf decorated rim, over rounded shoulders decorated with panels of flowers and blooms between panels of flower filled lattice, against a scrolling leaf ground. The tapering body filled with a continuous scene of a gathering of wise men. The body tapering to a lower band of rising flowers, between again a scrolling leaf ground. The vase finished with a rounded foot rim. Date circa 1870. Height 11 inches, 28cm. Diameter 8 3/4 inches, 22cm.Ref: 23911
