A 19th Century Oval Glazed Majolica Jardiniere, Planter. With a ringed and outward swept rim, above the box decorated in relief with angels and cherubs seated amongst swags, and flanking a central scrolled rondel. Each end of the planter mounted with a roaring lion mask handle. The planter finished with a concave foot rim. In very good condition throughout, and an attractive coloured glaze. Date circa 1870.
