A 19th century Masons Ironstone Jug. The octagonal shaped jug, with a scallop rim, the neck tapering toward the facetted body, mounted with a Hydra handle. The body decorated in the oriental style, with flowers and trees, whilst the handle is decorated in green and ocres. The underside with Masons mark, crown, and “Patent Ironstone China”, within a swagged panel. Height 7 ¼ inches, width 6 3/3 inches, depth 5 ½ inches. Circa 1860Ref: 20588
