A 19th Century Centre Bowl, Basket. The bowl with a scallop rim, out swept, and finished to either end with shell scrolled handles. The oval body broadening to a rounded band, which tapers to the spreading raised foot. The whole decorated with flowers and blooms, against lattice fences, all in the Imari colour palette, with gilt highlighting. Height 5 inches, 13cm. Width 10 1/2 inches, 27cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm.
