An Early 19th C Delft Garniture. The garniture comprising three vases with outswept octagonal rims, above the octagonal rounded baluster shaped bodies, tapering to a raised and waisted socle, spreading to the outward swept foot. The pair matching trumpet shaped vases with octagonal rims, above the tall bodies, tapering slightly toward the raised and waisted socle, and thence the spreading outward swept foot. The whole decorated with scenes of a young boy and girl in conversation, as they sit on a river bank with boats in sail beyond. The scenes within raised relief scrolling reserves, set amongst foliage. The sides and rear of the vases painted with flowers, ribbons and leaves. date c 1800. Height 10 1/2 inches, 27cm. Width 6 12 inches, 16cm. Depth 4 1/2 inches, 12cm.
