An Early 19th Century Pearl Glazed Basket. The basket of oval shape, the rim with an entwined ribbon, over the reeded body, sweeping in a concave profile, through an entwined and gathered middle, to meet the reeded bood. The cnetre with a basket weave decoration, surrounding a diamond motif. The base finished with a small raised foot rim. Date circa 1820. Height 2 1/2 inches, 6.5cm. Width 8 3/4 inches, 22cm.
