A Large 18th Century Delft Bowl. The bowl with a sloping body tapering toward a rounded bottom and thence the raised and recessed foot rim. The interior painted with leaves and spreading flowers, surrounding the centre with an exotic bird and an insect in flight. The outer of the bowl painted with oriental foliage and flowers, around which an exotic bird and insects fly, as per the centre of the bowl. Height 5 1/2 inches, width 12 inches, depth 12 inches.
