A Large 19th Century Jug. With a broad spout, meeting the tall collar, decorated with wild roses, to both the inner and outer sides. The handle with a thumb grip, and curved terminals, likewise with wild rose decoration. The substantial rounded body showing a rural scene, as horses water at a lake on which ducks swim, overlooked by a romantic country lodge, as cows pasture, with a a grand house and church glimpsed in the background.
