A Large 19th Century Imari Charger. The charger with a slightly dished profile. The banded rim decorated with a pair of reserves decorated with flower filled jardinières, and pineapples beside a formal balustrade, with other reserves filled with exotic dragons amongst flowers and foliage. The reserves against a background of hanging leaves, fruits and flowers. The centre of the charger decorated with a flower filled Oriental bowl. The rear of the charger decorated with flowers and trailing leaves, surrounding a raised foot rim. In very good condition throughout. Date circa 1870. Height 2 1/2 inches, 6cm.
