A large 19th Century Imari vase, the rounded tulip-shaped body with a raised collar above a broad shoulder, tapering downward to a small foot rim. The body well-decorated with panels depicting scenes of flowers emerging from planters on a veranda, and other scenes of trees in a garden, with Birds of Paradise perched in the branches. The panels divided by backgrounds of flowers and leaves. The quality of the decoration very good.
