LARGE POLYCHROME VASE & COVER C1800

A large Vase and Cover. The Large early 19th century Tin Glazed Polychrome Vase and Cover, with an octagonal bell shaped cover topped with a rounded finial. The cover fitting within the raised collar of the vase, the body with broad octagonal shoulders, sweeping inward and downward to a spreading foot. The whole attractively decorated with garlands of flowers, amongst a ground of rising flowers and floral sprigs, between line banding to the shoulder and foot. The whole in remarkable condition. Height 20 1/2 inches, 52cm. Diameter 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Circa 1800
