A Pair of 18th Century Delft Polychrome Vases and Covers. Each with an octagonal bell shaped cover, topper by a seated dog finial. The covers with raised scroll reserves, filled with stipple and flower decoration, the side and rear decorated with sprigs of flowers. The octagonal baluster shaped bodies raised scrolling reserves with likewise stipple and floral decoration. The reserves filled with bucolic scenes of a young couple seated by trees with baskets of fruit beside them. The sides and rear of the vases with attractive decoration of flower in full bloom. The vases finished with a spreading foot rim. The underside marked for the maker Pieter Adriaansz Kocx. Date circa 1730. Height 13 inches, 33cm. Width 5 inches, 12cm. Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.
