A Pair of Early 18th Century Delft Tiles.

The spandrels with cross bow motifs, surrounding the bizarre scenes of a spider crab, and a mermaid drawing a bow and arrow, each above the waves.  A crab, or puff fish, and I think a mermaid, possibly a Triton... who knows!

Date c 1700

Width 5 inches, depth 5 inches.
