A Pair of 18th Century Delft Vases. Each vase with a raised octagonal rim, over the octagonal baluster body, tapering to a waisted octagonal foot. The rim and shoulders decorated with scrolled leaves, and reserves filled with oriental flowers. The main body painted with scenes of a figure, seated in a garden amongst rocky outcrops. The foot rim banded with rising leaves. The undersides with makers mark Anthony Pennis. Date circa 1750. Height 5 1/2 inches, 14cm. Width 3 1/4 inches, 8.5cm. Depth 3 1/4 inches, 8.5cm.
