A Pair of Flower Bricks. The Pair of 18th century Delft Flower Bricks, (London) each with a slightly recessed grid for flower storks, around a central bulb square. The bodies painted with vases, filled with an abundance of flowers, with further flowers scattered below, above which insects flit. The ends decorated with sprigs of wild flowers. The scenes within line borders, quartered by flower head fans. The undersides with a slightly recessed base. A very good provenance.
