PAIR OF 18TH C MANGANESE DELFT PLATES

A Pair of Manganese Coloured 18th Century Delft Plates. Each with a line banded rim, enclosing sprigs of spreading flowers. The centre of the plates painted with idiosyncratic amusing scenes of stags prancing in an oriental garden. The rear of the plates with rounded and recessed foot rims. Height 1 inch, 2.5cm. Diameter 9 inches, 23cm. Date circa 1740
