A Pair of 19th Century Creamware Vases and Covers. Each with a leaf topped domed cover with falling flutes, fitting within the tall necks, tapering outward and downward with fluted leaves, to the classical vase bodies. The shoulders with ring venting above a reeded band, from which hang leaf gather swags, the rims mounted with pairs of scrolling leaf handles. The lower body with rising fluted cups, above the ring socles spreading to a circular foot, standing on a square plinth, decorated to the edges with reeding, as per the vase rims. Height 18 1/2 inches, 47cm. Width 10 1/2 inches, 27cm. Depth 8 inches, 20cm. Date circa 1850.
