A Set of Five 19th Century Pharmacy Jars & Covers. Each cover of circular concave shape, rising to a ball finial. The outer rims of the covers with a small overhanging rim above the cylindrical bodies, with raised horizontal bands, and a small foot rim. Each decorated with gilt swagged leaves, forming a reserve within which the title of the potion for each jar. Date c 1850. Height 10 1/2 inches, diameter 5 inches.Ref: 20706
