A Set of Three 18th Century Delft Polychrome Vases. The set comprising an octagonal trumpet shaped vase, and a pair of octagonal baluster shaped vases. Each vase decorated with rural scene of houses beside a lake, set amongst trees, with hills in the background, the scenes surrounded by scrolling flowers, against a stipple ground. The borders in raised scrolling and foliate relief, topped by flower heads. The necks, foot and rear further decorated with scrolls. All marked for ADRIAAN VAN DER DOES & CORNELIA GAEL. Height 10 inches, 25cm. Width 6 inches, 15cm. Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm. Date circa 1700.Ref: 21935
