A Set of Three Vases. The good sized Set of Three Masons Ironstone Vases and Covers, each with an "octagonal" rounded edged bell shaped cover, topped with Foo dog finial. The covers fitting within the likewise "octagonal" rims of the vases. The Vases sweeping into a baluster shape, and thence tapering into outward swept foot. The Vases mounted with rising and scrolling leaf handles. The covers lifting off, to reveal the inner lids, with matching Foo dog finials. The whole decorated with dragons and exotic dogs, amongst flowers, scrolling leaves, and passing clouds. The undersides with "Chinese" marks, and the pattern number. Height 15 inches, 38cm. Width 8 inches, 20cm. Depth 6 1/2 inches, 17cm. Circa 1830.Ref:
