19TH C BOW FIRE GUARD

A 19th Century Bow Fire Guard. With a rounded brass top rail, over a body of vertical wire work, within horizontal banding and broader iron uprights. The top band with swagged wire work decoration. The base finished with a spark and ash plate. Date circa 1850. Height 35 inches, 89cm. Width 28 inches, 71cm. Depth 12 inches, 31cm.
