19TH C NURSERY FIRE GUARD

An Early 19th Century Nursery Fire Guard. The fire guard with a rounded brass top rail, above a body of fine vertical wirework, decorated with bowed banding and internally held by steel vertical and horizontal supports. The base with a conforming spark tray. Height 24 1/2 inches, 62cm. Width 34 inches, 87cm. Depth 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Date circa 1830.
