A 19th Century Nursery Fire Guard. The guard with a brass top rail, enclosing the 'D' shaped lattice wired body, supported by steel uprights. The base with a raised front ash and spark protector. Date c 1860. Height 27 1/4 inches, 69cm. Width 35 inches, 89cm. Depth 11 inches, 28cm.
