A set of early 19th Century polished steel and brass fire tools, the handles with reeded bonnet top finials, and flower-head lozenge bodies finished with beaded bands. The handles with traces of fine gilding. The shanks with good crisp barley twist decoration, to a poker, pair of tongs, and a fan-shaped shovel with attractive pieced decoration.
Length 28 1/4 inches; shovel at widest 6 1/4 inches.
