An 18th Century Mahogany Oval Drop Sided Butlers Tray / Coffee Table, with brass hinge work, open handle holds to each side and a panel centre.  The sides hinging of form a square shape when up, and oval when at the horizontal. 

The tray mounted on a later base with square section legs, with a moulded outside edge to each leg, to repeat the moulding on the drop sides of the tray.  The legs joined by an 'H' stretcher.

Height 21 1/2"  Width 36"  Depth 29" when leaves  horizontal.
