A George III Chest of Drawers. The well proportioned 18th century mahogany chest of drawers, with a boxwood strung and walnut cross banded top, surrounded by a concave and rounded mould edge, over four long graduated drawers. Each drawer with a cockbeaded edge, original brass swan neck handles and key hole inserts, opening to oak lined drawers. the chest standing on tapered splay feet, joined by a bow frieze, repeated to the sides/rear. Good colour and attractive size. Height 32 3/4 inches, 83cm. Width 35 inches, 89cm. Depth 19 1/2 inches, 49cm. Date circa 1770.
