Early 18th Century Oak Childs Coffer, Sword Chest.
The hinged lid with reeding to the front and back sides, the top decorated with two bands of zig zag carved decoration, which contines to the body of the chest, which likewise has reeded bands to the top and bottom of the front panel. The front panel with hasp plate lock. The chest of shaped bracket feet to the front and triangular and ring foot to the sides.
