An early 19th C mahogany gueridon, the circular fossilized slate top with generous overhang, resting on a a circular mahogany frieze with beaded edge, the octagonal and baluster shped stem and triform base veneered in figured mahogany , above scrolled legs with twist and anthemion detailing to each side which runs down to ends finished with spreading reeded detail. The table resting on three lion's paw carved feet.
