19th Century Cheval Mirror. The 19th century mahogany and ebony inlaid cheval mirror, with acorn and ringed finials, above rectangular blocks, inlaid with ebony, joining ring turned cross rails, and uprights. the uprights and cross rails likewise with ebony inlaid blocks. The uprights supported by downward and outward swept legs, finished with a reeded decoration, the reeding continued to the brass cup castors. The hinged plate mirror held by gilt brass, drum head, floral decorated knobs. The frame with crossbanded ebony inlaid rounded profile, finished to the inner edge with a concave slip. The rear of the plate mirror panelled. Height 66 1/2 inches, 169cm. Width 34 inches, 86cm. Depth 21 inches, 53cm.Ref: 21725
